JEEP WRANGLER

The First model YJ was launched in March 1986 and continued until December 1995. It was offered with body style variations of 2-door convertible and 2-door SUV. It had a power train engine capacity of 2.5 liters to 4.2 liters of gasoline fuel engine. It was also offered with a 3-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual gear transmission. It had a trim level package of the base, Laredo, Islander, Sport, Sahara, Renegade, and the Rio Grande.
The second generation model was known as TJ. It was produced in January 1996 and ended in July 2006. It had a decade-long span with increased vehicle sales all over the world. It was offered with a trim level package of SE, X, 60th-anniversary edition, 65th-anniversary edition, apex edition, and Columbia edition. Some more packages were Freedom Edition, Golden Eagle, Rocky mountain edition, Sahara Edition Unlimited Rubicon, Tomb Raider Edition, Willy’s Edition, and Rubicon.
The JL is the newest next generation model will be coming up in September 2017. It will be offered in both a convertible SUV as well as a pickup truck design. It will offer a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission and a six-speed manual transmission.
Some of the prominently added features are turbocharged 4 cylinder diesel engine and a U- Connect infotainment system.
