VAUXHALL VECTRA

Vauxhall Vectra was a large family hatchback car introduced and designed in October 1988. It was also popularly known by some other brand names like Opel Vectra and Chevrolet Vectra. This smart and vibrant luxury hatchback car has been categorized into three generation models Vectra A, Vectra B, and the Vectra C.
 
Vectra A was the initial generation model designed as a 4-door notchback saloon and a 5-door hatchback. It had production tenure of seven years from 1988 to 1995. It was built with a front-engine, front-wheel-drive with an option of four-wheel-drive layout design structure. It had engine variations of 1.4L, 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L, and 2.5 liters of petrol fuel engine as well as 1.7 liters of turbo charged diesel engine. It was powered by 5-speed manual, 6-speed getrag manual, and 4-speed automatic gear transmission.
 
Vectra B was launched in October 1995 at the Frankfurt motor show with the 5-door estate version for the 1st time. It was offered with body style variations of 4-door notchback saloon, 5-door hatchback and a 5-door station wagon. The power train engine variations included both petrol and diesel fuel with the 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission.
 
The Vauxhall Vectra C was presented in March 2002 which was offered with 4-door notchback sedan and 5-door hatchback. The 5-door estate wagon was added a year later. This premium class executive car was based on the epsilon platform and offered a striking exterior appearance and comfortable luxurious internal accommodation for customers. It was offered with 5to 6-speeds manual and 6-speed automatic easy tronic as well as CV Tronic speed transmission. 
 
Vectra C was also used in touring car racing series built with a touch of dynamism and powerful driving style.
