Honda Inspire was an inspiring and appealing luxury 4-door mid-size sedan introduced on 12th October 1989. It was better known as Honda Vigor and Acura Vigor. The first generation Honda Inspire was built of 4-door B Pillar hard top body style with a longitudinal front engine, front-wheel drive. The power train engine had a choice of 2.5 L and 2.0 L straight-5 gasoline fuel engine and was powered by 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission. It was made of short and narrow size versions and was offered in 3 trim levels namely the base AZ-I, AG-I, and the AX-I. The wide and long size body version was also later introduced in 1992.

 

The second generation inspire model was launched in 6th July 1995 and firmly competed with Toyota Camry Gracia, Mark II, Cresta, Chaser, Nissan Cefiro, Skyline, Mazda Millenia, and the Mitsubishi Diamante. It had a similar body size dimension as of previous generation with 3.2 L V6 engine fuel and 4-speed automatic gear transmission. 

 

The latest generation model was released on 19th December, 2007. It was equipped with advanced Honda technologies like active cruise control, electric power assisted steering, HDD Navigation and the Honda internavi telematics service.
